| Welcome to the grapevine. I guess you like parrots? We have a budgie but have had cockatiels too in the past. I'd love and African Grey but I now think it would outlive me! Good luck with your allotment and I look forward to more chat with you.

| thanks all, its a nice busy forum am being a bit braver and trying a few posts now i cant wait to get started and am keeping an eye on the getting started threads. 'my' plot is nearly underwater at the moment, well a bit of it is and i can see the last veggie crops, leeks mostly, waiting to come out is there a thread aboutt what seeds you can get going now? i have a utility room and a kitchen windowsill just beckoning me to put seed trays on ann |

| A few peeps have started with their seeds, but it's a bit dark and cool for most plants. You could try germinating chilli and peppers though as they need a long growing season. Easiest way is in a dish on damp kitchen roll with cling film to help prevent it drying out. Keep nice and warm.... |

| Hi Ann - welcome to the vine. If you keep an eye on this thread you can see what everyone is up to.
