  • hello again.

Just want to say hi to u all, been gone from here for 2 years (ish) pregnancy and newborn had left me with nothing garden related to say, but this year i'm back to growing my own...yipee...downside is i have moved house too 3 months ago and now have a slightly smaller, fully decked and pretty much full shaded garden. We apparently get full sun for May, June and July so Toms, Peppers and Chilli's all hardening off so i can make the most of the sunshine ( i say that with a hint of fear as we have had zero sun for 2 weeks now ) Everything will be pot grown from now on, so looking for idea's of what i can grow in pots , hopefully someone can point me in the right direction

Welcome back VL, Forgive me for appearing thick, it's a habit I can't get out of but you say you get full sun for May, June & July...........in a full shaded garden.........

only see sun in half of the garden, the half that has nowhere to put anything as sheds are there and can't move the sheds so i say full shade...lol. Neighbours have informed me that the sun hangs around all day for those 3 months only. just wish the sheds had flat roofs!!

There's no such thing as "can't" - I was always told. Turn a shed into a greenhouse maybe?

Ask him if you can put a perspex/polycarb roof on.

Hi VL, welcome back. There are loads of things you can do in containers, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
