Remembered, but thanks anyway Chris. Just off to see if there are any veg on it tonight. Half an hour of flowers is enough for me, although I suppose he may mention the mums I so desperately need info on.

I've got most of this year's GW on the Sky+ but never get round to watching it as himself is in charge of the telly (well, he has to be in charge of sommat lol)! Luckily I've just found some earbuds that fit my Mac, so I'm gonna catch up on here now.

          Or not. Insufficient bandwidth.

Leeks onions and a comparison of grafted and non grafted toms.........monty showed two methods of planting out leeks. Dibbling in and planting in clumps direct from root trainers.

I am interested as to how they grow in clumps. I hope we get an update in the winter.......but GW is probably not on then.....

I skyplused it. I quite like Monty - but really I have never felt the same about anyone as I did about Geoff someoneorother. (Hamilton?). All a bit glitzy for me. Although he did show me how to prune a pear tree last week which will be jolly useful if I get brave and decide to do mine.

Still not impressed with this programme, although they do seem to be making an effort to do a bit more veg. Beechgrove is much better.

Was talking to my brother the other day and he started on an anti Monty rant based on the fact that apparently Monty once announced that you won't get apples from pip grown trees for a considerable number of years (20 seems to ring a bell). This prompted my brother to point at the trees he's grown who produce a veritable bounty of fruits, both cookers and eaters which are fruiting after about 5 years. Can't say I remember that episode but I do find the best way to watch it is to record and then fast forward which means this hour long episode will probably only take me 10 mins to watch but I've not got around to that yet

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
