Default HDNL strikes again

I ordered a crate of wine from a club I belong to. Left instructions as to where to deliver it if not in.

They didn't want a signature this time and put the wine in the conservatory as per instructions. Sounds good doesn't it.

They shut the bl**dy door. In this weather . Let alone a crate of wine in boiling temperatures, what about my poor plants.

I don't think they'd been that long before I got back from work as the bottles in the centre were still quite cool, but it was long enough to wilt me seedlings .

As a delivery driver, may I ask what you would have done if the door had been left open and your wine stolen ?
If your conservatory gets that hot, do those plants really need to be in there during the day ?

Love and Peace

I leave for work very early and don't know what the weather is going to be like. The plants are OK left in the conservatory with the door open.

As the door has to be left unlocked for the delivery it makes no difference to the risk of theft whether it is open or shut.

Actually the risk of theft is minimal.

What a nuisance. Are the seedlings any better this morning?

I ordered a case of wine from V1rg1n W1nes ... I gave specific instructions to leave it by the back door, so the driver left it at a local shop instead. I finally got the case 2 days later when i figured out where it was. Muppets.

PS. I cancelled my membership there and then, but they continued billing me £20 every month. I am now fighting for a refund - they "can't receive" my emails, and presumably don't receive any Royal Mail post either.
