We have 2, they were rescue cats and we got them the same day 7 years ago. One of them disappeared for a while over winter year 1 and came back minus an eye and a leg!!! Wouldn't swap him for anything, after what happened he can only abide to be in a room with me or OH, nobody else. But is uber affectionate with us.

That's Cleo. She's nearly eight now.

Out of our eight moggies, she's mine. I fuss them all, and they'll all come sit with me, but she's with me constantly - I can't even go to the loo by myself!

I had a tortoiseshell cat before Cleo. Sadly, Shelley died, aged only ten, from kidney failure, but she too went everywhere with me, even in the car. Cleo won't go near the car.

Our old Siamese Lady loved to be with us, too. Hated travelling in the car, but insisted on coming with us, and was actually better (quieter) when travelling loose in the back with the Dog.

Can't wait to get another (or two), and will do as soon as we are moved and settled.
