    Has anyone seen my post?

    I started a new thread in chitchat called (I think) "Which dog?" but I can't find it. I've done a search (which doesn't seem to be working) and have looked under my profile, but when I look for my posts and threads it doesn't show ANY of them! What am I doing wrong - am I going mad? Did I dream it? I'm sure I posted Did anyone see it?

    I e-mailed the administrators but haven't had a reply.

    Was it about what dog to get, must be good with cats etc.
    If it was it got a bit heated about a breed of dog and it got inundated with people from other sites, fb I think saying that this breed of dog was okay.
    Mods may have deleted it.

      Spaniel was the general consensus I think, it got a bit heated about greyhounds and staffies although IT WAS NEVER SAID that they were a bad breed

          What a shame I wasn't quick enough to see the (non-heated) responses!

          Have been thinking about a Bijon Frise or a "Cavajon" (sp?) a cross between a Bijon and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Maybe I wasn't so far off the mark then, if a Spaniel was the general consensus.

            I recommended Cavaliers - having had 6 over the years. Brilliant little dogs. There is also a Cavadoodle apparently which is a cross between a Cav and a poodle. I know someone who has one but I've never seen it. My brother likes Miniature Schnauzers and the 2 he has had have been very goodtempered dogs, particularly with children. Perhaps another breed for you to consider.

                  We'll tidy it up and put it back - the PM wanted to know if you had read the positive responses or not so I'm guessing the answer is no!

                    Thank you everyone. I've checked my private messages and notifications but can't see anything about this post - am I looking in the right place? I think there may be a little blip with my "behind the scenes" stuff though, as I can never find my previous posts - when I look in my profile there is nothing there. I seem to remember when I first joined the forum I had similar problems - I think it had something to do with the fact that there used to be another Curly-Kale (spelled differently I think). Not to worry - off to read my tidied up post now - thanks so much Mods!

                      Yes, I've just checked and it went to the CurlyKale with no hyphen.

                        tidied or censored? shrugs - I give up - people will have the same old prejudices, I guess, whatever education is offered - its a shame it's the dogs that have to suffer that's all

                            I agree, GF. However, it's a shame you totally grabbed the wrong end of the stick and completely overreacted to an innocent comment, dragged a load of other folk in, and upset the whole darn show in the first place!


                            And, I guess this post will be deleted!

                            Just thought it needed saying!
