  • Happy Christmas Day

Just to wish every one a very happy Christmas day.
Have stayed up until now waiting for Santa to land in Ireland.
Am assured he is here now so am off to bed.
    Have a great holiday.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

He appears to have missed Eance but thats probably cos I've not been good. Let that be a lesson to me.
Have a wonderful day everyone, to see the joy on kiddies faces at this time of year is one of the best things that can ever happen to a parent imho.

                Merry Christmas

Just having a cuppa, waiting for the oven to get hot to put the chicken in. Then the kids will be let loose! Well, actually we have a very civilized 'turn-taking' at handing out the presents.

                  Merry Christmas everyone
We started at 6am , maybe they will learn to stay in bed one day. (21, 19 and 17). They are all busy making warhammer models or sorting yugio cards at the moment. Breakfast at 9, dinner at 3, so I've got a bit of time to myself.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Merry Christmas Grapes [good AND bad].

I've had some lovely festive emails this morning telling me all about the homebase [and other] sales. How thoughtful of them

Right - off to drink this cuppa Mr Z has lovingly made, and bake Bakewell Tart.

Happy Christmas everyone, Santa has been, we have opened all the presents and had a chocolate orange and Smoked Salmon breakfast.

Hope you all have a lovely day, off to pick the sprouts for lunch now and try to find where the parsnips are under 4 inches of snow!

Will be opening the champagne soonish, well perhaps I'll have some porridge first.

We're all someone's child Manda, I just spoke to my son and his exact words were

"Dad, I'm almost 30 and I'm still excited at opening my Christmas presents"

                              Ain't it great??
