I had to google Beltane - so thanks for the extra bit of info I know have stuffed in my little brain. It has always reminded me of Tess of the D'urbevilles (a favourite book, must read it again soon) when all the village girls are dancing - so pastoral. Our May is looking fantastic round here - I love this time of year.

Normally I pick cherry blossom for the table on May Day .
It's been getting more and more difficult to find over the past few years as it's been and gone.
This year it's having to be a bunch of cherry leaves and some green cherries!!!!!!!!

I've had to stop some children from eating the cherries today Nicos. When I said they would "get awful tummy ache", they responded by saying "Do you mean we'll get diarrhoea?" They found it hilarious when I said "Big time"!
