Default A GYO wish...

I suppose like many grapes I keep my back issues of GYO, what I would find really useful is if once a year (the December issue) the mag published a reference index to the articles it had published the previous year - what about it magazine publishing people???

the medical journal I subscribe to does this, it is very useful, but probably a nightmare to compile. ( rather them than me )

Great Idea. Pleeeeeeese!

Brilliant idea. I spent the weekend looking for a fruit crumble recipe that I KNOW is in there somewhere. It's one where oats are used in the crumbly bit, so if anyone comes across it (probably whilst you're searching for something else) could you let me know which issue please?

That would be great, although I agree it might be nightmarish to compile.

What about a token in each months mag that you could save up and at the end of the year "cash in"for a box file with an index printed on the front . The box file should hold the mags and keep them tidy and only those with a full set of tokens get the file rather than give it away as a freebee. Will also encourage you to take out a subscription to GYO.

Default Ideas...

Yes, brilliant idea, and lets be honest.. the opposition doe's it.

Can the subscribers mag be delivered in Biodegradable plastic cover..?

How about PODCASTS..interviews or an audio guide on how to do stuff. Several Other Gardening mags do it, Saga, Gardens Illustrated.. go to their websites for info.

P.S who's Craig..?

Podcasts are like little radio programmes that you can download and either listen to via your computer or on an mp3 player (like the iPod etc).

Example here:

gardening podcast - coopette.com - Alternative Kitchen Garden

It could be done if page numbering was continuous throughout the year & not starting each issue with page one.
Then calling a complete year a volume, binders could be provided?
I'll be honest I've not managed to buy a single copy yet as being unemployed money is somewhat tight.
