BBC NEWS | Europe | Monsanto guilty in 'false ad' row

France's highest court has ruled that US agrochemical giant Monsanto had not told the truth about the safety of its best-selling weed-killer, Roundup. The court confirmed an earlier judgment that Monsanto had falsely advertised its herbicide as "biodegradable" and claimed it "left the soil clean".
The company was fined 15,000 euros (£13,800; $22,400). It has yet to comment on the judgment.
Roundup is the world's best-selling herbicide.
Monsanto also sells crops genetically-engineered to be tolerant to Roundup...

"Hey" he said "Grab your things

I thought Roundup is on the EU list of soon to be prohibited products?

"To those who simply criticize without offering new ideas of their own, I have to ask, what's your answer?"

In a world where the population is steadily increasing and available land for food production is decreasing along with limited fuel resources can any of you explain how you would feed the world with out chemicals?Should every square metre of ground that is in food production not be farmed as efficiently as possible thereby giving cheap plentiful food for all.
Going organic on your allotment is one thing - feeding the world is entirely another.
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.
