Well just got back after all the queue's getting away from the finish line.

I have one black toe nail on one foot, three black toe nails and a bloody trainer on other foot, my knee feels like its been whacked with an axe, but apart from that the run was a blast!

I managed to pass the Army guys tabbing with there back packs, outran a giraffe, a duck, two people dressed up as water taps but couldn't catch the guy pulling a rickshaw!

Sorry to say I didn't win it!

                      Out of 55000 starters I came 36,318th

Completed in 2 Hrs 49 mins

Surprisingly the age and gender results (55-59) put me at 1001th!

Thanks to all who sponsored me.

Snadger has left the building.............(Maybe a full marathon is more my distance?)

Not too shabby for an auld turnip I hadn't seen this before but I have added a little to your tally x
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

                              Ta muchly Seahorse.

I've no idea how long the sposorship line will stay open before its distributed to the Crohn's people?
Had a warm welcome in the Crohn's and Colitis UK tent at the end of the race, but the queue's were a bit long for a free massage which I quite fancied.
