  • The grass is always greener?????

I've just used up the last of my Maris Piper, and onto the last bag of Charlottes.

Now you see- (this is sort of interesting if you're bored/nothing better to think about).....

When we lived in the UK, we grew mostly Charlottes ( about 90%) and a few 'old' potatoes.
Now we're here , we find it very difficult to find good jacket/ roasting spuds ( any suggestions welcomed!) so we decided to grow more old potatoes rather than Charlottes last year...and they've all gone.

Interesting how you always seem to want whats harder to get hold of isn't it????

Perhaps it's human nature to want for that which you don't have.

I always feel really happy giving away some of my home grown until I come to the last of whatever, then I wish I'd been a bit less generous with it!

Maybe it was just a really good winter for jacket spuds, Nicos!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
