Before I decide to book my coach to grapestock I have a few questions about my jouney.
I will probably travel up on the Friday and back on the Sunday or Monday.
The journey is approx 10 hours
I will be travelling from Newton Abbot or Exeter
I can get a coach to Keighley but back from Leeds.
Can someone tell me where I need to get the coach to. ie Leeds, Keighley ??? nearest.
    This is with National Express.
Is anyone going that I can get a lift with, the cost of coach is over £60 return so will be willing to contribute to cost of petrol.
Anyone find any other way of me getting there please pm me. I am hopeless of finding cheapest fares etc.

Jackie - surely someone from either your way can give you a lift, or pick you up from a stop somewhere nearer.....£60 return is madness for Grapestock....

Ouch Jackie! That's a lot isn't it? I can't help you with a lift obviously, being here already, but if you get to Keighley I'll pick you up from there.

Thanks folks but it would cost nearly as much in petrol. lol
I would be willing to meet up with someone who is going and share costs, but I dont think anyone near to me is going. Its not so much the cost but the time lol if I come by train which cuts the journey time by half it would cost over £100.
If any one is willing to give me a lift part way that would be great.
Every time I look at fares and times its different.

I've searched, and found train tickets for £44.00 each way, so a total of £88. Bit better than £163.00, but still
If you want to look, it's on trainline: buy cheap train tickets, get UK train times & fares - book seats online and I've searched for journeys between Exeter St. Davids and Keighley, departing 27th August. The cheapest fare is for the one that departs Exeter at 12.23

Crikey - I think you might just win the medal for dedication to the cause!

Unfortunately you're the wrong side of the country for us. £65 ish sounds reasonable. It's going to cost is near that in diesel I think, plus you can have a snooze.

If I were to drive which I wont it would take between 5 and 6 hours without stopping.

How about flying - a bit posh sounding I know but I've looked at flybe who go from Exeter and they have flights to leeds quite cheap. You might be able to get a last minute flight on there.

Also, there might be a code or whatever on this site that might help drop your ticket price.
