I use firefox with an ad blocker and don't see any of the ads on here or pretty much elsewhere.

BT Internet and Chrome here, and no problems. Other than it's taking an age to refresh the page after I've posted.

Which browser are you using GreenThing? Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox? And is it the most up-to-date version of the browser? We'll need those details to query the problem with Admin, as it appears that the problem is not being experienced by everyone... Thanks

I'm using firefox 2.0
(don't ask) can't upgrade the browser .
just me then
firefox was working fine before google started tinkering with it

The ad blocker should work, but I'm not sure what banner you're on about, green thing.. could you post a screenshot?

Does it look like this (only in English

) Green thing? If so, I don't know why it is at the top of every post

it was at the bottom of the page on mine but I do know how to get rid of it

Mine's at the bottom of each page too. I'd love to know how to get rid of it. I'm wondering if that's what's causing my screen to freeze and then I get a message saying something about a script causing problems and do I want to stop it...then when I say yes all is fine for a while- but I've no idea what script I agreed to stopping! And then of course it happens again a while later.
