    Goodbye and best wishes

    I have unfortunately been repeatedly misunderstood on this forum and can only blame my writing style for this, as the sentiment is not meant in the way it is being read or interpreted.

    I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here, but now feel very uncomfortable about my postings and how they come across. I don't want to upset people and I certainly don't want to put off new members, and so I have decided to bid you all a fond farewell.

    (Tammy, I shall PM you about the seed swap in a moment)

      Can't think of anything you've said that I've found offensive or in anyway a problem. There are several people I have no time for on this site but you are not one of them and anyway, they're as entitled to their oppinions as anybody else anyway so I just tend to avoid their threads rather than the full site. Not always easy but I find it's a way I can still get some gardening advice.

      Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

      Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

        There are all 'types' of peeps on here- hat's what make us such a good forum.
        We need your contribution...seriously ...just carry on and avoid anyone who you may feel you're in conflict with

            I concur. Stay where you are - maybe do as I have and cut back a bit. As per Alison's post, just ignore those that maybe upset you. I think there is actually an ignore button somewhere...

              Dont do it! I think I know the thread your referring to, I just responded on there myself. Its all part of a healthy debate. Certainly not a personal issue!

                    it definitely was NOT a personal issue, and wasn't just your post either, i certainly wouldn't want you to leave over it!!
                    besides, you explained, and it sounded perfectly reasonable to me and everyone else.
                    Forums like emails can be very impersonal, and what we ALL type can sometimes come across other than we meant it .

                      Don't be daft girl,
                      I spend my life being misunderstood - it is no reason not to get stuck in. If people are silly enough to take offence at something they have mistaken, then that's their oversensitivity that is the problem, not you.
                      I belong to another forum (out of some necessity) and they are actually, out and out rude there. They tend towards judgemental and self righteousness. I have never detected that in any of your postings.
                      Stay, Nicos is right - it takes (and needs) all sorts.
