  • Good news re ofsted

Some of you will be aware of the school i am at and the highs and lows of working there. We just had HMI in again last week and have made good progress since their last visit which means next time when they come it will trigger a full inspection and we may/very likely come out of category/special measures, how flipping brilliant is that!!
We have worked our socks off, my plot has suffered from lack of energy/being able to get up there but would mean far less working when at home and actually having a life outside of school. WHOOP, WHOOP.

Hearty congratulations to you and your colleagues Miffy - I know just how hard you all must have worked. Lets hope all your efforts pay off big time and you bounce from needing to improve to good or even outstanding!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

We are definitely going to get good overall next time and then head for outstanding, i think we are already outstanding mind you as i know the personal sacrifice and effort put in by all teams across all phases. Has cemented us as a team though and we look after not only our children and families but also each other. Thank you for your kind words. Will keep you posted, should be June the next visit.

Miffy - coming from spending the last 10 years in training organisations working with schools and colleges; I can understand your excitement at turning the school round.

You can tell a good school from the buzz that you get when you walk into reception. It all starts at the top and it sounds like you have turned it round and hats off to you for doing so.

Well done to all who have worked so hard. It is great when extra effort put in is noticed and rewarded

We are all abit too cream crackered to celebrate at this moment but have booked a night out after Easter when we are well rested enough to kick our heels up!! Exhausted but so very proud and happy.
