    ...it's a song

    ....I think it was a 60's song

.....it opens with cars and road work noise

......they're followed by an organ going dadah dadah dadah

The snatches of lyrics I remember are: Common common grab a girl......hot in the city........getting hot & dirty

What is the song and who preformed it pleeeeeeeeeease put me out of my misery!!

    Thanks

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

There's also an excellent 'a cappella' version by the Flying Pickets - if anyone remembers them.
