  • Go obama

Sorry - I know I'm Canadian born and British bred and all but I'm so excited about the result; I can't stop shaking...

Why oh why we aren't in New York tonight...we flippin should be.

I need to make a cuppa and I've got loads of newspaper lined up for an evening making paper logs for the woodburner for the winter...and going to be glued to the TV all evening.

    *and breathe*

    Go Obama indeed!

Of course he's 'establishment' and the real fundamentals won't change (or if they do, it will be very slow) but wow!... an educated, articulate, charismatic left leaning politician in charge of the US? It's history in the making.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Ah, not just me who doesn't want a repeat of the last 8 years then? Yes, I admit that for the first time I shall be taking a real interest too.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

I'm watching and waiting. Just keep checking early votes and every update I can find. Hugely important for so many reasons - we're slightly obsessed in our house.

And yes, Go Obama. (Sarah Palin makes me shiver, and not in a good way...)

                        Now that is scarey!
Would nice to have a US president who isnt senile tbh. Not much to choose between Bush and Reagan in my opinion. Both mad as hatters

                          GO OBAMA!!

can't stand that mad palin woman, and the idea of mc cain dropping dead in the next 6 months and her in charge scares the hell out of me.

'sides i like obama, man talks sense, politician sense of course, but still sense.
I am about to snuggle down on the sofa and watch the results coming in.
