Did anygrape spot this? BBC2 at 2.00pm today 'daily step-by-step horticultural guide', followed by 'Natures Top 40 Wildlife spectaculars'.

I didn't know either were on. I've been at home all day reading your chat and playing daft games on puter when I could have been watching gardening progs.

I will set video for tomorrow and record both.

I usually avoid it - things to do, carpets to iron etc. but I'm badly and have done nothing all day because I've been suffering from man flu (no I didn't realise it was possible either) - it would have just hit the spot. Hey ho.

Didn't have the strength to channel hop.

          However, tomorrows programme is:

Ten-part step-by-step guide to gardening. Monty Don is back with a beginner's guide to growing food. He shows the best way to prepare the soil for a bumper crop, gives his top tips for sowing seeds and makes a simple raised bed. Monty gives us his essential guide to what vegetables to grow and recalls a memorable harvest at Berryfields. We also visit a novice vegetable grower and Monty helps her start her own vegetable patch.

So pretty useful then! (But I do have Monty problems)

Whilst the information you have brought to this thread is very interesting, and if I had been home I would have watched it, you clearly did NOT have man flu, for you are a girl, and thus you would be dead. Simple!!

I used the term 'man flu' to imply that I was slightly under par, you are not strong enough to hear the full list of my symptoms and their after effects. And no one has called me a girl for years, you dear sweet thing I've come over all giggly. THAT shows how weak I am.
