Default Gardeners world seeds

I think it was 2 weeks ago that Gardeners World introduced their free seed promo. I got online straight away for mine! Just wondered if anyone had received theirs yet; I'd kind of hoped to have by now, and I'm sure since I registered on the night I must have been in with a chance. Not that I haven't got enough to be doing, without having yet more seeds to 'file' then sow!

I got the voucher too - I've just been rooting through to see what to buy! £5 off AND 2 free packs of seeds AND discounted bedding plants.
My free seeds from GYO arrived today which I'm really pleased with. OH reckons I won't need to buy any until next year now ! ! That's what HE thinks!

Still no sign of the gardeners world seeds though, so I'm in a bit of a huff about that!

Hi,
I applied for the free seeds the same day it was introduced.Had an order confirmation but no seeds.E-mailed yesterday to ask whether I'd get some.Response back was that the seeds went out last week & if I'd not received them then I must have been too late.

Mine came today! But they sent me two packs the same (basil, tom, coriander), so first person to PM me with their address gets them (please only apply if you haven't already had some, be fair)

Monty mentioned alot of people had asked for the free seeds on gardeners world the other day, I think they had 5,000 seeds and 40,000 applied - dont quote me on the figures I think it was something like that.

i havent got my seeds so I dont think I was one of the lucky one, oh well I think I have enough seeds anyway.

Ah well, it was worth a try wasn't it? I find it funny though - I was emailling GW seconds after they mentioned it - I think I am pretty fast typing (I have a certificate to prove it!!) and I was still unlucky not to get any. Have got some spare seeds which I could use, so think I'm going to give it a go using those. Bernie aka Dexterdog

I think it was 40,000 applied for 5,000 sets of seeds. But monty did point out you could always buy them.

Did he not know plants always grow better if you don't pay for them.! its natural law or somthing.

I didn't apply until the morning after the programme went out, and my seeds took ages to arrive...in the end I got four packs all the same. The spares have now all been posted on to fellow Grapes

That's a bit rubbish NOG - I've got a £5 voucher for T&M - it came with the catalogue.
I guess there's possibly still hope for those of us who didn't receive any...
