I phoned the vet this morning to see about getting Gandalf a health check and was told that if I hang fire until the week after next they're offering free health checks, plus free wormer, to all bunnies on their books as it's National Rabbit Week. Apparently lots of vets are doing this up and down the country, so if you're a bunny owner it might be worth phoning your vet to see if he's involved. The wormer is worth about £10 and our vet charges a £27.50 consultation fee, even before you have any treatment, so definitely worth waiting a week for.
