  • Flippin' eck ginger ninja!!

GN: Would you like to try this type of squash?
Me: aye go on then love, I've the room to plant a lot this year!
GN: Ok, i'll put a couple of seeds for your little one to grow too.

Postie: Alright butt? Any chance you can give me a hand lifting this envelope out of the back of the car?

    Me: huh?

I'm only down the road from you in terms of origin, but in Derby a "couple" doesn't mean 40 packets of seeds, stuffed so full that they're hardly able to close!

Thank you so much So generous of you.

If you ever offer to buy me a couple of drinks mind, I'll make the trip up and book in at the local travel lodge!

Can I second your 'Flippin' eck' and add a 'Blimey!'....

I sent Ginge and some others some bean seeds... and Ginger sent me an envelope stuffed full of seeds... 20-odd super little packets.....

Not what I was expecting at all.... VERY generous!!!

(Also, thanks to JeanieD and BrambleKiller )
