What frost? I've just picked a good bunch of sweet peas and a few broad beans that have emerged!

Noooooooo!!! Don't like the collllllldddd!! I confess I love the LOOK of it, but the temperatures suck.

Soggy Surrey is living up to its name. Although the sun has come out now, so maybe it'll dry out a bit!

It's been very cold here the last couple of mornings but not really a frost as yet. It's felt very autumnal though with some lovely sunshine for a few days this week, all the birds were singing in the trees this morning, I think they're enjoying the 'sort of' Indian summer!

It was chuffin chilly here last night - we had the 'when's the heating going on' conversation this morning.

I fleeced everything that I didn't want to be frosted on Sunday, and it hadn't been got when I popped there yesterday - will pop back tomorrow and have a check. I just don't want the remaining beans to be frozen before harvesting!

people keep telling me "frost tonight, frost tonight" (like a plague warning, they're a bit hysterical about it).

I look up at the cloudy sky and think "nah, not yet"

(we're right on the coast and only get a couple of light frosts a year. Normally)

I had to scrape the frost from the car windscreen yesterday morning - time to make a space in the garage for the car!

Had frost here 2 mornings in a row. It is beautiful, lovely sunshine & blue skies.

I did fleece the beans, but the mad wind we had at the weekend whipped it off and it got caught in a load of brambles So I ended up picking all the beans. Lots of them are spread out on newspaper and cardboard in the garage, but all my True Cranberry Pole beans will have to be eaten soonish, they haven't got big enough to save for seed. Bummer!! But should have lots of Borlotti, Bird's Egg, Bridgwater & Yin Yang to swap later

                          No problemo

I think my Cosse Violette might not be ripe enough for seed, but I've still got some of the original seed. I've saved some 'Cobra' too, but I don't know if they'll come true? Are they an F1? I should look it up really...

Been raining here last couple of days, but bright and dry today. Was a bit of a nip this morning, but no frost.

We may have to have the 'when is the heating going on' conversation too. Trouble is, being on prepay, if the lec runs out and goes off, it buggers up me timers!
