  • Finally done it

Well after months and months of bullying, snide comments and various assorted manure, I resigned with immediate affect yesterday! Luckily my wife has been able to go back to work and I now swap and become the house husband until the youngest can start school. It may sound madness with all that is happening in the world but it was starting to effect my family life so enough was enough.
The weight lifted from my shoulders as I put the phone down and I felt happy about the future for the first time in a good while.

    Phew!

Brave decision Dave, but I applaud it. Absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be the home-body, I'm sure it will work out fine

Good for you - there is not a job that pays enough for you to tolerate it affecting your home life!

And how can you then Sarz?

Oh and good on your Norm

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Good luck to you,i know what it was like to be bullied, not just school,i spent 27 years bring up family, doing out work and some temping in hosery, when i did go back out full time,it was horrendos, they hated haveing the older person, entering their space, and one place delberatly sent me to coventry,it seems the position i filled was because a friend got sacked, and i was not the first one the have left in tears, the firm concerned was scared to do anything about them,as they were all experienced and knew the tradeall this i found out after through 3rd party,i vowed NEVER to go out to work again,it makes you feel worthless and paranoid,at the same time you know it is NOT your fault, you will feel so much better now, also give you some quality time with the family, all the best in your new adventure, and the ironing, there are a few threads on here about dodging most of it lol.
