Surely you would have felt the bump as you did it, are you sure it was you and not someone hitting your car while you were shopping ?

Don't get too uptight about it, tiachica. It was not intentional and you are doing all you can to set it right. We all bump someone else's car at some time in our driving lives, and when all's said and done, it's only a car!

            Happy you reported it

            - unlike the old bat who hit me in waitrose the other week, reversed straight into me depsite me honking the horn. Then she drove off with me running after her like a loon flapping my arms. Didn't catch her though. Reported it but the CCTV doesn't cover that part of the carpark. Next time she may well hit a child. And I am left with a bumper that is cracked to bits and if I go through my insurance the car will be written off as it's old.
Not happy bunny me for people who don't own up to mistakes!

Easily done ,my dear and it's why we have insurance. I caused £800 worth of damage (or so it was said) reversing at about half a mile an hour to get round a badly parked car.
There are far worse things can happen.

Don't feel bad... not many people would admit to making a mistake. The person who hit mine in the car park at work a couple of years ago never did

Thanks grapes. I am starting to feel better about it. Haven't got the bill yet, but got paid today...

Just really annoyed that we got a speeding ticket through the mail 90mph in 70mph zone. OH was driving. I feel like everything is going wrong just now.
