    Hi all

    I'm with an supporting artist agency, and they sendt me a brief that I thought might interest you with all your amazing gardenign and husbrandry skills that exist on here.

    They are looking for people for a major new feature film called "SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN" filming between now and Christmas in and around the London area.


    Here are the briefs.
    They am searching for people who can portray 'Medieval Farmers': They need people who are highly competent at farming methods relevant to the medieval period. For example, people who can skin rabbits, pluck chickens, hoe, use a scythe and so on.
    Please only get in touch if you have a good level of experience in this specific area. If you fit this brief please email them (alexATcastingcollective.co.uk) with the subject heading 'MEDIEVAL FARMERS'.


    As well as people with Farming skills they are have a general brief for 'Medieval Men & Women'

    ‘MEDIEVAL MEN & WOMEN’
    FILM EXTRAS WANTED
    FOR A MAJOR NEW FEATURE FILM

    The Casting Collective are looking for:
    CAUCASIAN MEN & WOMEN
    AGE 16 – 70

    MEN:
    MUST HAVE HAIR THAT’S AT LEAST A FEW INCHES LONG ALL OVER TO SHOULDER LENGTH. BEARDS WOULD BE GREAT BUT NOT ESSENTIAL.
    (MEN'S HAIR MUST BE AT LEAST 3 INCHES LONG OR LONGER WITH NO DYE OR HIGHLIGHTS - YOU CAN APPLY IF YOU CURRENTLY DON’T HAVE A BEARD BUT ARE PREPARD TO GROW ONE.)
    NO SHORT BACK & SIDES

    WOMEN:
    MUST HAVE SHOULDER LENGTH OR LONGER NATURAL HAIR
    NO DYE OR HIGHLIGHTS

    Men click on the ‘Caucasian Men with collar length or longer hair &/or beards’ link
    Women click on the 'English Rose beautiful women' link
    Fill in the online form & upload a recent picture that clearly shows your current hair length.

      I think that if you have the right skills they might consider you even if your hair isn't right, and give you a wig.

              me too!

              "people aged 16-70" - people didn't live that long in medieval time surely? I could ask my mum she's 75 and must have plucked a few chickens in her time .... there always seemed to be one being rinsed when I was small

                            Hi I just thought I'd clarify

                            There were 2 different briefs there - One was the general one where they are after the "look" and the other is the one where they are after the skill.

                            I encourage you to apply - it doesn't cost anything - they are very friendly, and if you get it it's great fun.
