| I nearly choked on the piece of Spiced Banana Loaf I've just RE-MADE, on account of Steve Wright (BBC RADIO 2) has just put the first one I made in his on-air skip..... at 16.08 this afternoon. Listen Again?!

| Yes Indeedy, Wellie got an E-mail through to 'Steve Wright in the Afternoon' radio show this afternoon (very well spotted Paulottie, full marks!!) And since Trousers has just got home, and he didn't hear it 'Live' on the radio, tapping into our 'puter to access the 'BBC Radio 2 Listen Again', for Trousers to listen to it, we'll have to download something?! Wrighty didn't read the bit about saying Hello to all my Grow Your Own Forum Friends though. Nor did he say "LAST HIT" from me to Hazel? OR that I was going to 'Marmalize' my cat when I got a hold of her......!

| We HAVE been able to do the 'Listen Again' for Trousers to hear it. Because Wellie was having yet another blonde moment, you just click on Steve Wright, and then on Listen Again. Whole show = 2.58 mins. If you click for each 15 mins until you hit the 2:00 slot, it's aired at 2:05 ish? Funnily enough, the track he plays beforehand, is a version of 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' ! DOH! Rustylady, I have to tell you that I feel rather good now! thank you...

| No probs Clare, she's asleep now on the sofa, and that's a sure sign of no 'Newspapers' game tonight, but a sure sign that there will be activity later on in the Mouse department? Bu@@er.....

| Thanks DDL. I don't think I have posted that recipe up before, so I'll do that for you on Season To Taste, later. Had some for brekkie this morning, spread with a little Anchor Butter, it's lovely and moist..... And I baked it in the silicon loaf 'thingy' that I bought from Lidl in Montlucon when I was staying with The Scareys en France, easy to turn out after baking, no fiddly greaseproof lining, dead good! Well done Two Sheds! It made Wrighty giggle...

| I missed it first time round too, wot with having the attention span of a gnat and therefore having wandered off by the time your moment of fame was upon us! Why doesn't the listen again thingy have a 'go back 5 mins' as well as a 'go forward 5 mins..?'

| No - don't know the answer to that one Haze, ask me another one sweetart....... I tell you what though. Trousers put two mousetraps in the kitchen yesterday late afternoon. We heard the first one 'trip' (look away children) early evening, and the b*****d took the cheese bait and got clean away without even getting a knat's whisker caught (which we're kind of used to now actually?) and then this morning when I finally decided to get up and slope down to the kitchen, I noticed that Mousey had stolen the cheese from the second trap, and not 'tripped' it at all! SO. I went to the cuddly little pet shop today, and bought another mousetrap..... I apologise for the squeamish amongst you, but I will NOT have mice remotely close to where I prepare food..... and before you could pour yourself a nice cool glass of Pinot Grigio, Mickey had gone to heaven with a full tummy. Just a case of giving BC Cat 'smacked paws' now then for the hundredth time this year?!

| Youre problem is giving the mice an easily ""swiped" bait Wellie. As you should know, all mice go to school to be taught how to remove cheese from traps and live. Now if you really want to be ruthless, try peanut butter or nutella, they love it more than their mothers and cant run off with it so tend to linger that nanosecond longer. Result, well you get to sing "Who's laughing now".

| I won't have them in the house either - and have spent many a happy hour doing a far better job than the England goalie catching the little monkeys before they disappear somewhere inaccessible (under the fire/gap behind the bathpanel/behind the filing cabinet in the office/up the lining of the big curtains in the lounge) but if all that fails, I resort to a mousetrap too. I'm too squeemy for Big-Spring-Snap-and-you're-History mousetraps - after all, you are a bloody lucky mouse if you have run the gauntlet of my two mogs, and are still in one piece, you deserve another roll of the dice! So I have a 'one way' only mousetrap one where any mice who do end up in the house can come in for a bit of chocolate, have a nice kip and in the morning can be take back out to under the hedge to live another day.
