    Introduction page:

    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gi...172&topic=5713

    It's been a year since Findeon Dandy started the Facebook page; and some of us have made friends outside the Vine.

    We have 143 members on the Group - but I wanted to post the link again for any newbies.

    It took a while to get started, and the group is more a conduit for people to make friends if they want to, outside the Vine itself.

    Obviously there will be those who aren't interested; but for those who are, come along, introduce yourself and see if you like it.

    I for one am today enjoying playing scrabble with Di and Seahorse; and Mafia Wars with Ollie by my side; and having a general giggle at other times over dodgy Grape photos and soppy family pics.

    So, thanks to FD for starting the page in the first place; and come along introduce yourself and see if it works for you

    If it doesn't then Meh, it doesn't. No pain, no gain.

    Nice one zazen,
    I too have been enjoying grapes via facebook. I can't believe how competitive I seem to be at bejewelled blitz
    Having seen some of your scrabble words I'm not sure I want to join in though
    Certainly it's worth checking out for those of you who do FB.

      The first 2 things I do in the morning (OK 3 if you count putting the coffee on) is look at Facebook and the Grapevine and I love em both.

      I think Facebook is good for the games but also for getting to know people a little bit better. I don't often say much on there but it's nice to belong

        I sort of do FB but only a quick pop in to check what my kids have been up to. Can't quite get to grips with all the 'challenges' so I pop out again.

          What a good idea! Now I can see who is who. There is so much I still need to learn about faceache.

                I used to play my best mate's girlfriend at scrabble, i'm pretty good, but she always used to thrash me. I didn't want to be sour-grapesy but I didn't believe she was that good, so I used an online programme that tells you exactly what to put and where to put in to get the highest possible score. She then beat me exactly 50% of the time. I'm pretty confident she was using the same thing!
                I deleted the game afterwards as I felt dirty!
                They later split up, I can only imagine he caught her cheating...

                  Have revealed my true identity....well a third of it anyway

                  Just to explain Northepaul is made up of 3 names:

                  Nor = EleaNOR

                  The = THEa

                  Paul = erm PAUL

                  Usually its me Thea, however it is occasionally Paul and Eleanor is just surfing (Or watching TV)

                    My main activity on Facebook is My Zoo. I do play some 'farm' games, but the Zoo is the important one.. Why? because it fundraises for wildlife charities, so far concentrating on those which help endangered species.
                    Thanks whoever it was (got a shortlist of 2, but can't remember vine names for either) for showing it to me!

                          Happy to add you kernowyn but I can't identify you on the list.
                          Might be worth mentioning the 'In case you don't recognise me' discussion thread where we can put our grapevine names for identification purposes

                            Would be happy to add lots of you as Facebook friends, but I have to keep my profile locked down because of work. Never mind, due to retire in March then I can loosen up. Love playing scrabble
