    Email alert...

    Is there a facility within the site that enables us to receive email notifications whenever we get a reply to any of our posts? I've had a mooch around the site but haven't yet been able to find anything to enable us to do this...As ever, any advice received would be greeted with unbridled joy in this quarter...

    Go to Settings/My Account/Messaging and Notification/Default Thread subscription Mode.
    There's a dropdown box - mine is set to "once daily" and I get a link at midnight to all the threads I've subscribed to.

      Thank you for that, VeggieChicken, and hello again! Am hoping to be back now on a regular basis after being away (fairly unexpectedly) at my nephew's last week. Will sort out all the (now overdue) writing stuff very soon!...

        Hope you can sort out your email alerts. there are several options - play around with them and see what suits you best!

            As long as you make it clear they are stories, and not actual articles of course.

              I will. I'm posting them on my own website only, anyway, and I'll simply give people a link if they want to see them. I won't post any more stories on here...
