The Edible Garden Show - THE Ultimate Grow Your Own Event

Just seen someone mention this on FB and wondered if anyone from here is likely to be going?

  • #2
I'm debating it this year. Bought a ticket in 2010 when it was cancelled and then went in 2011 but was rather disappointed as you could do the whole show in a couple of hours. Didn't go last year but wondered if there was more there this year. The web site doesn't say much at the moment so will have to think about it. I know a load of people went last year but can't remember whether they said it was developing from the year before or not - must have a look as I think the idea is sound.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Hmmmm, maybe will give it a miss again this year then although seem to remember when I said I wasn't going last year as I'd not thought much of it the year before, I came in for some criticism and was told that I should support it as it was generally a good idea

Went last year, bounding with enthusiasm. Didn't quite get it. Didn't do enough veggie growing stuff for me. Was very fruity, actually .

Actually I've found a deal so I might go as they had the chicken vet Victoria Roberts and lots of small holding stalls which will mean I can get henny stuff that I need.

Did think about having a stall there but they want silly money so not surprised if there's not a lot there.......Visited it in 2011 but couldn't go last year. May visit this year depending on work etc as its only down the road ....

I thought that 2012 would have been bigger & better and was dissappointed .....its a good 3hour journey from here so not bothering.....would have supported it had last year been an improvement. Not only that it'll save me a fortune buying stuff 'I need'

Anyone thinking of going there are usually BOGOF deals for the tickets so have a look round before buying
