  • The Edible Garden show - Stoneleigh - POSTPONED

    I am a little confused....
been on Stoneleigh web site - and the above show is not listed??
tapped in the edible Garden show and web site shows it going ahead, if you go to 'floor plan' there dont seem to be many takers for stands??
I have signed up for news letters but never received one??
Show is the month after next.....
Anyone heard anything much about this show?
    March 19th to 21st ??????

I'm glad you mentioned this because I noticed in a.n.other garden newspaper that in the listings for all the major shows for this year there was no mention of TEGS.

I just assumed they (TEGS) hadn't notified the paper for be added to the listings, but that would just be plain daft cos you would want to let as many people know about a new show as possible.

Hi Piskie, the plot thickens .....
Shame, as it sounds like a fantastic show for us grapes! covers so many things
Lets hope all is well with the show
Shame too about lack of news letters I was really looking forward to the briefings.

      However....
There was an advert for it in one of my veg growing mags this month so there may be some hope.

Just had a reply from the Stoneleigh Park Events Co-ordinator. Yes it's going ahead and will be on their website in a couple of weeks.

Hum, that maybe because they plan mags so far in advance - but fingers crossed it's still on

The show is definitely on and is advertised in all the garden mags. It doesn't look to be a huge show by Gardeners World Live standards, but there are up to 335 stands available. The Mirror group is one of the main sponsors. Have seen at least 3 seed companies and two rival magazines. Plus an area with 11 stands to be able to ask the experts. Still early days but I am already looking forward to it.

gojiberry - early days??? it's early NEXT month !!!.....seems they have their work cut out to fill the stands? Still no 'news letter' signed up ages ago.

Wanted to go friday (no kiddies) but Mr HF working I'm guessing it will be Saturday now- unless most grapes going on the Sunday-It would be fab to meet some you.
Really looking forward to this show.

Sunday for us . Perhaps we should all wear a vine leaf then we could all play spot the grape?

Maybe we could pin a vine leaf to our coats like a corsage thingy.
