  • Edible Garden Show 2016

I've not seen any mention of this since before Christmas, so I thought I'd do a post.

Is anybody planning to attend this year?
I'm making my first visit as it's finally near enough to me now.

Has anyone been before? I've heard form various forums over the years it's a bit on the small & expensive side. Any thoughts.?

I went the first year and was rather disappointed. Too much pretty stuff and not many plants or quality tools. Went again the last year it was in the Midlands and it was a bit better but still only a couple of hours entertainment. London was never going to happen for me, have considered it this year now it's moved somewhere more accessible but don't need to buy stuff I don't need. Think I wanted it to be better than it was.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

There's a fairly high chance I might mention it

Might be going on the Saturday. I went in the last year it was at Stoneleigh and it was ok. Went in London and I thought it was awful. The programme looks better this year. And they certainly have more space (and parking!) than in London.

And after the recent rains here, it's hard standing parking.... I checked.

I hope there's a lot to see, do and buy. I'm going to be there Saturday as well .
As I'm traveling a fair distance. I didn't see any point in rushing around it in one day.
There will be chickens there, so that's half a day used up, straight away
