I sell an awful lot of stuff on ebay and have noticed that they have increased prices, used to be 12p an extra pic now its 36p!!! Although I make a profit, with the credit crunch you would think they would reduce prices not increase them!

Does anyone else sell or buy on ebay?

    Oooh, that's cheeky.

I regularly buy from eBay and have only started selling things this week after a clear out. Only been posting the free pic so far.

Used to buy and sell - now don't do so much selling as it has become so costly.

Yes, I do, I'm afraid it's a bit of an addiction.

You may find that opening an eBay shop can be cheaper - free pics for example, that's what I did. You don't have to sell loads, just put the stuff on 'good til cancelled' which basically means it stays listed until it's sold.

I don't make a huge profit, but if you keep a record it's surprising how it all adds up. For example, when we moved house in the summer, all the furniture and appliances I sold paid for my Chicken coop and electric fencing kits!

I'm trying to find myself a new belt as we speak (and maybe a pair of boots).

Sold a few bits in the past.

My OH has a shop on Ebay. You pay an amount each month it varies on the kind of shop you have the amount you pay (I think). And you get charged slightly less for putting stuff on. I think he pays about £10.00 a month.

Errrrr - had it a while now, but as far as I can remember it's free. I haven't signed up for any extras, just the basic level - no complaints so far.

As for their charges, well let's face it, if they were too high more people would use the alternatives - and what's the saying 'Often copied, never equalled!'

Go for it - if you don't like it, you can shut the shop but still remain a member.

People are happy to knock eBay, Skype, Dyson, Microsoft and anyone else successful, but I bet we all wish we'd had the idea in the first place....

List on eBay using Auctiva! It's free and once you've used it you'll kick Turbo Lister into touch............I did and I've never looked back!

List with as many photographs as you like for nothing........thousands of free listing templates which eBay charge you 2p a knock for and it's far simpler than turbo lister or listing direct.

Auctiva. (google it!)........an excellent program I'd recommend to anyone.

NB I only sell books and every book I sell I only pay 5p eBay fees to list it!
