ok so this is why I am a secondary teacher and not primary! I need help.

My son has decided he wants to make a nest for his teacher and put some of our eggs in it for his teacher on the last day.
I have had a few goes trying to fashion a nest but am struggling... anyone know of any good sites I can copy one from? Or have any ideas? he wants to put some shredded paper inside and make it look like a birds nest.

    Thanks *clueless me

My son won first prize for the one I made!!!!

No idea where the piccie is though1

Wha i did was cut a whole pile of branches from a weeping willow and just wound them round on each other. Very quick and easy to be honest.
I then blew some eggs and glued them inside.

Bit like a wreath with a bit in the middle for the eggs to sit on.

    Hope that helps a bit????

I would go with Nicos' willow weave with maybe a bit of spagnum moss (available at florists/garden centres) tucked in between the twigs to give it a more "nesty" appearance.
However to make a REALLY good nest, you really need a beak......Good luck!

Oh. I was going to suggest some scrunched up tin foil lined with straw
          Caro

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day
