Your plot neighbour once again does bugger all to his plot and once again the weeds are reaching four foot high and going to seed

I have put myself on the waiting list for this plot next to mine, but the guy cuts back the weeds at the start of the year then we don't see him again until the next year when he repeats the exercise.

We got our rules changed so that plots holders that do this get evicted. If they get 'non-cultivation' letters one year and improve that's fine. But if it keeps happening then tough they're off!

That's a shame Cad - pity you don't know who he is, you could have a word with him.

It's a shame to see an allotment under-utilised when someone could put it to good use for growing food. It always makes me inwardly cringe when I'm showing prospective tenants round the site and they ask after these plots.

The council officer at the last reps meeting informed us that if there is no one on the waiting list then they will not bother with a non-cultivation letter or notice to quit as at least they get money for an unworked plot. Many Reps jacked in the job following that meeting.

I don't know where he lives and he has not been visiting the allotment

If we could get people on the waiting list then perhaps they would consider throwing this guy off.
