Yep, I reckon there will be quite a few returning to work this morning feeling very sore!

Yes, I got burned even with suncream on: backs of my shoulders (I had factor 15 on, which gives me - quick bit of mental maths, 15 x 10 mins= 2.5 hours of protection. I was weeding for 3 hrs ...)

We had friends over for lunch yesterday so ate outside, we were sat outside from 1 to 6 p.m. Unfortunately we only have 2 small sun umbrellias which covered our 'guests'. I was sensible and wore a hat, however, poor Mrs TK looks like a lobster this morning! Ouch! We are now going out this week to buy a big umbrellia! It was 30 degrees here yesterday and obviously a lot of wine was consumed to keep us cool!!

              Smug alert!

Nope, I was work out in the (new) garden from 1100 to 1630hrs, I haven't burnt - I use factor 50, it gives me really good protection and I still get a decent colour - I applied twice in that time.

First thing yesterday I had to do a trip to B&Q, I was amazed at how many lobsters were walking about - looks sooo sore

So, feel free to throw rotten eggs at me

Keep slapping on the Aloe Vera

Stayed in the shade or indoors for most of yesterday - it was too hot for anything else.

I burn in the moonlight, so slapped on factor 30 and stayed shaded during 'peak hours'.

yep caught it on my shoulders and back but I am not sore, I did use suncream but I think its at least last years so not as much protection. I didnt go out till 12 noon and I have a sun umbrella at the lottie so I sat under that for some of the time. I came home at 4pm. For those of you who cant reach and have no one to do your back I can recomend an applicator from kleeneze, its a massage back brush (but with balls ) you load it up with suncream or lotion and roll it over your back, it did work for me although not brillant as I didnt really plaster the cream on.

Burnt with Factor 30 on.... I applied it twice in 3 hours and was mostly in the shade, and have still managed to burn on my chest area (i.e. where the v-neck of my t-shirt was)....

Have slapped a load of aloe vera onto it, but actually, although it looks awful, it doesn't feel any different to the rest of me.

The fairly annoying thing is that I go back to milk-bottle-white as soon as the burn fades....

Me like The Big Fella slapped it on in the morning and kept out of the sun in peak hours.

Couldn't face the hours of 12-4 yesterday - gave me a headache just thinking about it.

I even left a load of paperwork out in the back courtyard overnight in the hope that that would bring some rain; which it usually does - but nada.
