It might fade if you keep washing it with a biological powder at 95 degrees. Or maybe there is something you can buy which will fade it. I once dyed my hair jet black and looked like Witch, it was horrible but I got some 'colour reducing' stuff from the hair dresser and then put lots of red henna in. It came to be a gorgeous dark rich browny/auburn but of course I've never been able to repeat it.

Had a disaster today.
Put pork hock in oven to roast slowly, put a pot I burnt dry (while steaming something last night) on hob to simmer with water and washing up liquid in to help me scrub all the black off.
Nipped upstairs for very quick bath and hair wash as I stunk of horse poo I was shifting this morning. While getting dressed, the smoke alarms started screaming. Pot had boiled dry and house full of bloody smoke...again!
OH works nights and is in bed, I didn't hear him stir and he didn't come out whingeing, so I'm hoping I've got away with it. And if he has a moan later, all he will get told is s++t happens!

that's my only option now. Chocolate brown or pale green was the choice. Looks like pale green was the wrong one

We did our sofas a few years ago from white (what man in his right mind who lives on his own, eats takeaway curry and has 2 cats buys a white sofa?!) to a dark orane, then later on from the orange to dark brown.

Still going strong, and gets washed regularly.

Bleach?

A pair of my white cotton boxers got into the wash along with some new jeans of mine (a kind of brown/black/fade-wash colour) and they came out salmon pink oddly. I just got used to them, maybe you'll grow to love the green?

Best made plans eh! Some fabrics suck up the colour more easy than others, it is the chance we take. When we want a strong colour sods law we get the paler version!

lol,have an experiment,try some tie dieing and see what you get next,at least what you get will be unique to you,a designer duvet cover,sell it on ebay,bet somone will love it lol

Instead of dye you should have used either Dylon Net Curtain Whitener, or Colour Run Remover. Absolutely excellent for re-vamping whites and mistakes like that. Probably too late now though

That reminds me - the only place I know for getting Colour Run Remover is Woollies - b*gger

Dyes are funny things they never seem to do what they say on the tin, depends on your machine temp, water- hard and soft affect the result, etc etc.. The trouble is you could keep spending money on re dying it and it will cost you a fortune, There are some fab buys on duvets in Dunhelm Mill and also in TKMaxx if you have one, put this one down to experience and treat yourself to a new duvet. Sometimes you just have to admit defeat. If you know of any robin hood re enactors they could use the material to make outfits as they are so luverly and green!
