  • Dog advice needed

Me and Mrs Mustard are going to Southport airshow this weekend.
We are going in our caravan for the weekend and are wondering whether to take our Labrador. She doesn't really mind Loud noises but I don't even know if dogs are allowed.
My parents will look after her at a push.
    Anyone any advice?
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over
    here, looking through your stuff.

If you think she may be unhappy and it's only for a couple of days I should leave her behind with your parents.

Its mostly on and around the beach, so the dog on a leash would be no problem, I have seen dogs there in previous years but not many really, but it gets VERY crowded. And some of the aircraft are INCREDIBLY loud.

There are areas slightly away from the beach where you still get a reasonable view without being totally squished. People take their chairs and tables and sit by the car and enjoy the show from a distance. But you dont get the whole of the experience from these places. There is a fair amount to see in the areas on the beach.

It is a great day. I will probably be there myself, weather permitting.

If your dog is ok with crowds and loud noises then it should be ok, otherwise get her looked after for the day.

By the way, there have been years when I wish I had taken my wellies. But other years when they weren't necessary. I leave it up to you whether you want to take them but not need them or need them but not take them.
