im looking for the name of a tv programme on discovery shed where a landscape gardener built a pizza oven for a customer.

can anyone remember the name of the programme as i want to build another one as the old one broke down due to water and frost damage.

Didn't see it but have been looking at doing this myself for a while.

Jamie Oliver had one built for him probably after spending time at genaro's, his oven I would love.

This is a good book to check out.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

They seem quite simple to build, he says not having made his yet!!!!

damp sand mound, clay over top, leave until it goes hard, dig sand out, light fire, fill in cracks in clay.

I've looked at the brick versions, but these seem a lot more complicated, creating formers etc.

Just found this website hope it helps.

Also found this site which shows you how to build a temporary one, which you can pull down again at the end of the summer.

If those don't answer your questions here's a whole forum dedicated to doing just that.

I helped build one last week at the school (with a proper potter who makes his living from it an eveything!) so if you need any help pm me! Apparently they will always crack to some extent so keep some clay back, wrapped in plastic for patching.
