  • Despondant, tired and ill

Not been around as been so bl**dy knackered and been feeling rather ill.

I have my Autumn Craft Fair back down "home" in Enfield tomorrow and am feeling a bit despondant as; two crafters have cried off with flu, one with a family breavement and one double booked with babysitting her grandchildren, so I now only have 10 stalls booked. I do have one extra table other than that but it will be a sad one as it will be an "in memory of" as one of my crafters died last week so of course I have been upset about her too.

Car is all packed, dinner prepared so have a little time on my hands and am trying not to dwell so I supose what I am saying a chat would be most welcome.

Now look here young gal young gal...

The sun is shining...you're having a baby....you're running a fantastic Autumn Fair and doing a lovely thing in memory of one of the crafters.
Loads of peeps will come and they'll have a great time esp as the weather is so good.

Put yr feet up and get in a takeaway . Nice soak in the bath , and early to bed.
You'll feel proud of yourself this time tomorrow!!!! ( knackered maybe..but pleased!)

hi tammy, can sympathise with you,i also are haveing my bad time, like you i overdo things,if not nothing gets done, and i WAS better than,my tests say things ok,but you know things are not quite right,we've had plasteres in,then i had the decorating to do,not easy running on lo energy levels, well i got 3 coats on the bed, ceiling and it bubbled up,plasterer came back, patched it up as the skim came of,then it happened again in another area,so OH had to peelit all of,the paint that is,i was so stessed out,any how,9 weeks later i have got done what i wanted,
with regards to tomorrow,go and enjoy yourself, different suroundings can often help to lift the feelings, thus even if only a few hour ,all the best

Hi Tammy, cant offer much help sadly.
Just a huge hug to help you on your way. The fair will be just fine and the weather is looking good. Try to get a little time for you this evening, if not then have a little chat with 'baby' tell him/her what is going on, why you are rushing around, etc. sometimes its good to talk and you have an ear to bend with you all the time
Take care lovely lady and little baby (when are you due into this world?)
        Love headfry

Just don't get too tired and try not to worry. It's amazing how things recede into the distance. Looking back you'll see how good the day was and how you needen't have got so stewed up about it.

          Big smile for Aunty Flum!

Tammy try not to worry, fret & get depressed, you'll feel much better when you get there. It's a shame about the friend you lost but try & make the 'in memoriam' table a celebration of what they created & remember the happy times.

Oooh, FD, darlin'. I didn't know about the baby. Congratulations!!!!! (Sorry, I've not been around as much as normal myself.)
Tomorrow is going to be a glorious day so you'll probably have loads of people coming out to enjoy themselves at your fair and you won't even notice that the number of stalls is slightly reduced. Bet you're on here Sunday morning telling us all what a success it was.
                Take Care, love BM.

Looks like my news has slipped out (dont worry Nicos - am pleased really). Its been so hard keeping it to myself but I wasnt going to "announce" to everyone properly till the 12 week scan because I am worried I am going to cheese everyone off with my paranoia over every niggle and twinge, as I am understandably worried that this one stays in place. I am 8 weeks today so its still early days. I am on a low dose of asprin as well as my thyroxine and the reccomended folic acide, and as well as avoiding lifting, digging etc, I am hopeful I am doing all I can to ensure this one survives. Thanks for the good wishes for tomorrows fair.

                  Yours in hope,

                  Tammy

Look FD, pull yourself together girl. It's only a Craft Fair. Your bump is more important. I wanted another one or two for (ever) was told it wouldn't happen - he will be 25 in November .

Well the most important thing is BUMP and keep your chin up Girl!!
The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

Congratulations about the baby, but I'm saying it very quietly as its early days As your'e all packed it seems as though a good thing to do would be to make yourself a nice soothing drink and do something relaxing that involves putting your feet up.
Relax and go with the flow at your craft fair, I'm sure all will be well.
