      Don't see that at all

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Mine is across the road (and over a big wall, a path and through some trees) from the golf club, and yet still I regularly get their balls turn up, some of them seem to require even more time away from the family for practice as they've gone badly wrong if I've got em.. beyond the rough and into the tomatoes.. :P I'm considering funding my seed habit by selling them back..
        I have a dream:
a dream that, one day, chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Doesn't really compare to a golf course does it. I think golf spoils a pleasant walk!

Very good and have to agree. I got a plot after quitting the club. And I know where I'd rather be...

I`d have the allotment any day. Can you get fresh fruit, veg etc from a golf club?

Allotments USED to be the mainly for the working class and unemployed to supplement there meagre wages by growing some of there own food.

                        Now they are more cosmopolitan!

                        Golf is a pointless pastime!

Nah - golf is a pointless journey around a course after a ball.

Being the "her" in our house, there isn't a her indoors as I'm on the plot so maybe that's why it does make sense to me

And before anybody says it, I don't have a him indoors either as he'll be out and about too.
