    Don't read this Barleysugar!

I loved it - loved the Buffy references, the humour, the monsters, the pretty boys, Rupert. Good clean wholesome monster fun. And, just to make my evening complete, it was followed by the new PG tips advert - ho ho ho!

Next week there's angels and monsters - don't you just love Saturday nights!

I read an interview where he said he just did an average american accent, not a regional one as they were too difficult. I suppose to american ears it would just sound a little too 'perfect' - like when you hear someone from Birmingham do a west country. I did notice there was a lot of thee and thou and smite (loved smite!) so perhaps it was a little tongue in cheek with a throwback to a witchfinder generalish type thing - it didn't bother me but then I watched it all and it was like when you watch Shakespeare or Austen, after a few minutes you forget the language is odd (not that I am comparing the writing of 'Demons' to Shakespeare)

It was awful, the dialogue was clunky and they may as well have just sat there and read out the plot, switched off 30 mins in. Buffy was better, this is UK programme trying to be a USA programme, and the Americans do this thing better. Watch Survivors, 70s version and now, watch Hitch Hikers, watch paint dry but don't watch Demons, the CGI sucked and the whole think wheezed along. Why make in jokes about other programmes? Because the programme you're watching isn't that good...old writing trick, throw a stick and watch the audience run after it.

Sorry, if that was a bit harsh but we can produce better Saturday TV than this. We had the Last Train, which was great but flopped. I'm passionate about TV and Film!
