    darn blasted weather!!

    Well it might be the middle of July but it felt like the middle of winter in central Scotland last night - blowing a hooly and pelting with rain!

    Have gone out this morning to find pots blown over and compost everywhere, flowers flattened n soggy, and broken cane on outdoor tomato resulting in snapped growing tip!!

    The joys of being a gardener!!!

        Same here rhonsal...36 hours of wind and rain! Luckily the only damage was an apple tree which is in a pot, blew over and snapped some raspberry canes...other than that and having a waterlogged lawn didn't have more damage to contend with. Feel sorry for the folks up in Perthshire they have been hit pretty hard!

          Yeah Jay - further north has had a rough time, and I hope everyone is ok!
