Do you remember back in April I mentioned that we had made a complaint to Asda regarding vegetarian cheese and onion rolls that actually contained sausage meat as they had been wrongly labelled ?
Yesterday I phoned their head office who by the way didnt know what I was talking about and redirected me to the local store where we had made the origanal complaint, we had not recieved any letter or voucher that they promised us.
Today we recieved a £25 gift card that says 'Congratulations on your new arrival ' !!! along with a compliment slip saying ' sorry for the delay '.
This to me is very bad costomer service as there is no letter of appology or explanation or anything.
    What do you think ?
I think we will be writing to head office about this.

Write to Head Office (but keep the gift card!). I hope they never try to run a p*ss up in a brewery!

I've made a habit of complaining recently, but also making companies aware when I think they are doing well (according to my experience).

It's amazing how different companies react.

... what a mixed message! It sounds like they are congratulating you for having a baby, not then mucking up the sandwiches

I always write to Head Office when I have a complaint ... local store staff aren't employed for their literacy skills ~ they are busy running a shop. Head Office are there to deal with complaints and PR.

btw, I frequently get vouchers out of Superdrug, who insist on mis-pricing their stock, eg. 2 items for £1.99, but then you get charged full price at the till; or putting price reductions on the wrong product.

I work for a large supermarket company so I know what our local store does and I must admit its usually better than this company
