this year my grandson jamie nearly 2yrs old as helped me out in the greenhouse and at the allotment he as helped me pick tamo (tomatoes ) cumber (cucumber ) from the greenhouse he loves to chomp down on a freshly picked tom .today he helped me with the (umpkins ) pumpkins at the allotment he calls them footballs too .its been a great pleasure seeing his face light up when he gets to hold the produce he has his own digging set and happily digs away (mum loves it when he goes home coverd in muck )
i cant wait untill he realy gets the hang of it all.

I think the secret is to make it fun. No matter what the task is as long as he enjoys himself Jamie will always be a wiling helper.
