Yeh it is. I was thinking of going to have a look at the different breeds to put a face to a picture!

I actually showed my first dalmation at crufts the last time it was in London. Didn't win anything though.

Suggest you travel by train - the whole of east B'ham motorway system is gridlocked when Crufts comes to town!

Ho Dear I was going to suggest you go by car as I once went on the train and it was overfull with 'doggy women in tweed', Standing room only in fact.

I've been a couple of times, and Ive never owned a dog, it was interesting.
If you are going to see a particular breed then I suggest you check the official website to see what day that breed will be shown, as not all breeds are there every day.

Never been to crufts but have been to scrufs which is for rescue dogs and mixed breeds, that was fab.

Maybe six of one & half a dozen of the other!

I guess that I'd prefer a train journey as I'm quite close by, so standing room only is less of a problem. Also if I went by car, I'd have the cost of parking (£6 or £8, I think) and the car parks are a good walk too.

Yes, I do, whether or not I have a dog qualified. In fact, I prefer to go without a dog. It's like going to a shopping centre without children, liberating!

Not meaning to offend any of your guys who are into this (I'm more of a scruffy mutt person) but hasn't there been some controversy about the show in the past couple of years. Can't remember the detail but seem to think that the RSPCA (or similar) got involved??

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Yes, it was boycotted by I think the BBC and Pedigree for (dont quote me on this) the breeding practices that are going on.
