  • Cornish Grapes - where are you?

Janeyo has already started a great thread trying to locate nearest grapes - but I can't find any Cornish ones.

It would be smashing to find some others in Kernow - especially as we do seem to have a bit of a micro climate down here... Also could be good for swapping plants and seeds?

There is someone in Cornwall - erm initials I think, I chatted to them when I visited a friend this year in St Erth - can't remember the username!

                  Hi Jackie,

Do you think there are any more grapes between us(I reckon about 85 miles distance)

I'm afraid I rarely visit your neck of the woods - inclined to get on to the M5 at Exeter and keep going!!

We are before Exeter if you come on the Plymouth road to Exeter but if you go the other way then you have missed us lol I do go to Exeter and occasionaly Plymouth if you fancy a meet.

I am in North Cornwall, from Devon really but the wife dragged me across the border.

I'd love to meet up sometime but so rarely get up your way! Maybe we can fix something up in the spring - you never know, you might fancy a trip down West then.

I'm new to the vine so not sure how to swap contact details. We could always email?

                              Hi Paul,

There don't seem to be many of us in Cornwall.

I hope the 'drag' into the County from up country wasn't too traumatic! Good to make contact - might be useful when it comes to swapping seeds etc - and I bet you'll be able to share your expertise - I haven't got a tremendous amount of my own to share unfortunately!
