Default Cornflakes

Can you tell yhe difference between Kellogs and supermarket brands?
Her indoors thought I use to just make it up.I always said only buy Kellogs cornflakes because I don't like any others.
Then one day she put a supermarket brand into a kellogs box and when I went to have some I said that they wern't kellogs and she admitted what she had done.
She also tried it with Heinz Tomato soup but again I could tell the difference.
From that day she now believes I can tell the difference.

Kellogs & Heinz - both makes that are totally unique. And Jacobs cream crackers. And Walkers Crisps [although we have given crisps up for a few weeks].

my OH has had kelloggs every day since he can remember, there is very definately a one of flavour not to be beaten, several years ago when he was out of work and money was tight ,tight,as an experiment we shoped at aldi, never again would we concider the corn flakes,we put them out for the birds, even they gave them a wide berth, yup there is only one make KELLOGGS.

It's the crunchy Nut variety that the difference is most noticeable. Kellog's must put some kind of divine nectar in theirs that other brands can't aspire to! Although, Nestle do give Kellog's a run for their money - their CN Cheerios are wunderbar!

That is so funny, just finished eating a huge handful of frosted wheat thingy's for my breakfast here at work! I get in early so have time for breakfast and the vine, starts my day well, and as I work on my own most of the day - it makes me content for rest of day

I'm a firm fan of cornflakes, but I buy Asda's own, it doesn't taste as good as kelloggs, but it is not so wildly different and its half the price. You do get used to it, and forget the taste difference. Cherrios though are always cheerios, never ever make the mistake of eating multigrain hoops, yuck!! All weetabix taste the same, to me but DD lovely only one brand.

Happybunny can't resist porridge made with milk with cinnamon. Aunt just sent her cinnamon stick she bought on hols in greece. Its good cause she takes less sugar in porridge too!!!

Got to say it guys, but kelloggs cornflakes have changed in my opinion, they are not only smaller than i remember when i was a kid but they dont maintain the crunch when drenched in ice cold milk like they used to. Soggy cornflakes just ain't the same

Nothing is as big as when we were kids Topaz!! Soggy cornflakes? Depends how fast you eat them. Maybe we've all slowed down as we've got older!

Definitely Kellogg's for cornflakes but ASDA Bran Flakes are very good.

An' I remembr when 'Wagon Wheels' we're about 10" across
OH buys whatever brand of flakes is handiest. Most are ok but some are like eating cardboard, even the chooks turn their beaks up at them, better not say which brand though in case I get sued!
