    cookworks breadmaker

    Having purchased a cookworks breadmaker model cbm700 I find the instructions short on detail and wonder if anyone can shine a light on my questions. The machine has 12 programmes and number1 being a basic bake prog. I went to use prog 2 for wholemeal and after switching it on it did nothing. Left it for 20mins still nowt.When I switched to prog 1 it started kneading straight away. I realise different progs different times etc but is the delay on purpose or is it on the blink? How do you know it isn't on timer there is no display to tell otherwise. It did come with an instruction booklet which I find is very short in information. Surely if there is a delay in progs it should give you a warning as like me I wonder if this is right or not. If anyone can advise I would be most gratefull. A search on the web brought me to a place in vancouver, I don't think so and also to argos with no further instruction available. Has this been met before by some one. Please help. Thankyou all. Using the basic prog at the moment to bake some granary hope it's ok.

    try this, it may not be your model per se, but by all accounts all the cookworks are pretty much the same, you can download the pdf. ( it seems they may well be made by morphy richards too, which could explain the lack of info)

      Bridexiii had alook at the site you suggested and found I already have those instructions. I have been in touch with the supplier and told them my questions and that the information is totally inadequate. So hopefully I will get a reply soon otherwise the item goes back and I ask for another. Anyway thanks for giving up your time.

        No Problem whilst researching it became very apparent that you are not the only frustrated owner out there, i hope you get a decent response from the manufacturer.

          book is not easy to understand ,it have struggled.
