I keep getting a notice in bottom left corner of screen something about cookie control, anyone know what it is & how do I get shut of the pigging thing. I've tried looking at the link but once again I must be missing something.........PC's, who'd have 'em.

Is it a little green triangle at the bottom left hand corner? It just sits there unless you click on it, when it turns into an orange square that goes on about Cookie Control. At least that's what it does on mine using Chrome. -
Mines got a mind of it's own, just keeps flashing when it feels like it............

I get the orange box popping up, I click the X and try to load another page and it pops up again and it's the same thing again. Sometimes have to click the X and reload about 3 times before it lets me go to another page. Crazy!!Comment

Are you using Firefox, Ananke? Or summat else? If its a common problem maybe Admin can do something about it?Comment

have saw this new green triangle,not noticed any flashing,yet ,

I don't get any flashing either The orange box is there, I ignore it and just continue on as if it's not there and then the next page (which is the one I want) loads up and the orange box has turned into the little green triangle in the bottom left corner and I just ignore that.
Poor you, BM - you're having a bad time of it tonight aren't you. I suspect the problems were with chrome - quite a few people advised me not to use it so I stayed with Firefox. But none of that helps you now of course.
Don't panic and keep calm - someone more geeky than I will help soon

I'm with Chrome, never log off the Vine and stay logged in, and no probs with the Cookie thing. Hang on. I'm going to log off and log back in - see whether that changes anything. I may be some time

Back already - surprised I remembered my password!. No nothing changed, still a green triangle that does nothing unless I poke it.Comment

I have the green triangle which if I click on it brings up the orange cookie control box and like the others if I close that box down it reverts to the green triangle. If I click on read more in the orange box it thorws out a dialogue box with a link to browser settings to control third party cookies. May be summat to do with that. I'm not touching mine, it ain't broken

I've just logged out again and am now using IE. Still the same green triangle. I'm getting out this rapidly though - much prefer Chrome. Byee!Comment

I use Chrome at home and IE at work and in both cases just get a little green triangle which I've quite happily ignored. It's never flashed, gone orange or logged me out.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
